WHATS NEWS?

As of 2nd of August we will no longer be grooming at Rainbow Pet Butchery in Papakura. Anne has sold the butchery and the new owners want to stick with the food side of the business.

We would like to thank all of our Papakura grooming clients for their patronage and would like to remind them that by using the south western motorway, our Mt Albert salon is only 10 minutes from Manukau shopping centre.

Briar and I will still be at the Clevedon farmers market with the bikkies, muffins and fudge as usual. See you there.

We bath your dog, dry it, brush it, trim its hair, clean out the ears, clip the nails - and even clear out the anal glands.

Hand Stripping

Stardogs now offers hand stripping.

Briar and the girls were lucky enough to take a refresher course with the best terrier groomer in the world, the fabulous Sarah Hawks. She rekindled their passion for this old art.

A hand stripped dog has a totally different finish to a groomed dog. Hand stripping often helps with skin problems and is, when the dog has a blown coat, a very pleasant experience.

It's a great look for Terriers, and they don't need it done as often as a groom.
